A trade fair for Sweden's leading companies and young professionals

Traineedagen is an event for companies and young professionals. It's a gathering for Sweden's leading companies seeking talent for their trainee programs. The company representatives hold seminars and there's a lot of opportunity for students to mingle and talk to their potential future employer.

The first time I worked for Traineedagen was in October 2019. I was then host for the exhibiting companies and made sure they had everything they needed. After the fair in 2019, I was asked to be staff general for the next trade fair in February 2020. I was then responsible for all hosts and had an overall responsibility that everything worked as intended. In October 2020, the fair was held online due to the pandemic. I therefore got the role as studio manager and was responsible for the live broadcast.

For many students, Traineedagen is the first and very important step in their future career, a start in making important choices and get to know different companies. For me, that was really the case. It has given me a much clearer sense of which companies I could imagine working for after completing my education. By working at Traineedagen I've also gained lots of experience, from what it's like to work in project with events as well as expand my social network.
